1960 – 1961<\/h3>\n

  • The master who gave birth to modern nephrology at Siriraj Hospital is Prof. Dr. Rajit Buri<\/strong><\/em><\/span> , founder of the Vakkavitology department. Department of Internal Medicine in 1960 after Prof. Dr. Rajit Buri received a scholarship from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to study hemodialysis abroad. and has brought science and technology in diagnosing kidney disease, fluids and electrolytes in the new era, Prof. Dr. Rajit Buri became the first teacher and head of the Wakka Science Department. Later, Prof. Dr. Rajit Buri resigned in 2012. . 1966 to co-found the Faculty of Medicine at Ramathibodi Hospital.<\/li>\n
  • The second teacher was Dr. Sanga Nilawarangkun<\/span><\/strong><\/em> who was appointed as a teacher on 1 October 1961 and received a British Council scholarship in 1964 to study as a research fellow in England. The teacher was the leader. Field of study between 1966-1996<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    1964<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Nopparat Tuchinda (Prematthian currently)<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study and played an important role in setting up a kidney clinic (Renal Clinic). The professor went to study in the United States for 3 years. When he returned to work for a little over a year. Therefore transferred to the Department of Internal Medicine. Faculty of Medicine Chiang Mai University<\/p>\n

    Dr. Pisit Jirawong<\/h4>\n

    Was appointed as a lecturer in the field and received a Columbo Plan scholarship to study for a doctorate and study in the field of renal biopsy and renal histopathology in Australia between 1967 and 1971.<\/p>\n

    1972<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Sumalee Nimmannit<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study After completing the training for residency in internal medicine and fellow in nephrology. and working in a kidney disease unit in the United States He served as Head of the Wakka Wittaya Department from 1996-1997.<\/p>\n

    1974<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Leena Thingchuwong (Prof. Dr. Thanyarat Teerapornlertrat currently)<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study After completing training in internal medicine at the Department of Internal Medicine Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and later received a DAAD scholarship to study for a Dr. Med. degree in the Federal Republic of Germany between 1975 and 1978, serving as head of the Wakka Science Department between 1997 and 2006.<\/p>\n

    1976<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Suphat Wanitchakarn<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study After completing training as a resident physician in the field of internal medicine and a fellow in the field of nephrology from the United States.<\/p>\n

    1980<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Preeda Malasit<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study Teacher receives Ananda Mahidol scholarship To train and study in England, received the MRCP and are interested in immunology.<\/p>\n

    1987<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Somkiat Wasuwattakul<\/h4>\n

    Has been hired as a university employee Teacher position who was the first person at Mahidol University. Later, Dr. Somkiat Wasuwattakul received a scholarship from the Faculty to study fluids and electrolytes in Canada between 1989-1992 and was appointed as a civil servant in 1992. . 1993, served as head of the Wakka Wittaya Department from 2006-2012<\/p>\n

    1988<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Kriengsak Warisaengthip<\/h4>\n

    Was appointed as a medical fellow using the faculty’s income. and has been considered for employment as a university employee. He held the position of lecturer in 1989 and was appointed as a civil servant in 1995. Later, Dr. Kriangsak Warisaengthip received a scholarship from the faculty to study hemodialysis and kidney transplantation. and studied for a doctorate in renal medicine in England between 1993 and 1997. He held the position of head of the department from 2012 to 2021.<\/p>\n

    1990<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Chairat Chayakul<\/h4>\n

    Has been hired as a university employee Teacher position and was appointed as a civil servant in 1995, receiving funding from the Faculty To train in renal tubular acidosis and gastrointestinal disease in Japan from 1994 to 1995 and in molecular genetics and physiology of membrane transport proteins in the United States from 1995 to 1999. Currently, he holds the position of head of the department. Since the year 2021<\/p>\n

    Dr. Suchai Srithipayawan<\/h4>\n

    Has been hired as a university employee Teacher position and was appointed as a civil servant in 1996 and graduated with a doctorate degree at Mahidol University in 2009.

    Dr. Somsak Thanawatanacharoen<\/h4>\n

    which received the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Nephrology from the United States Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study But later resigned from government service for personal reasons in 2001.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Atthaphong Wongwiwat<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study After completing training in Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and received funding from the Faculty Went for further training in kidney transplantation in Canada between 2002-2004.<\/p>\n

    2003<\/h3>\n

    Dr. Rattana Chawana Speech<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study After completing training in Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and received a grant from the Faculty To continue training on the pathogenesis of glomerular disease in England between 2006-2009.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Nalinee Prematthian<\/h4>\n

    which received the Diplomate American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Nephrology and Certificate in Transplant Medicine from the United States. and has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study<\/p>\n

    Dr. Kraiwiporn Kiatsunthorn<\/h4>\n

    Has been appointed as a teacher in the field of study After completing training in Nephrology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital and received a faculty scholarship To continue training on Renal osteodystrophy and vascular calcification in chronic kidney disease in the United States during 2009-2011.<\/p>\n

    Dr. Sukit Raksasuk<\/h4>\n

    Was appointed as a university employee in the position of doctor and received a scholarship from the Kidney Foundation of Thailand. To continue training about Interventional Nephrology Research in the United States between 2014 and 2016. Was appointed as a professor in the field in 2017.<\/p>\n
